Uzbek and Tajik vehicles cannot cross each other's borders — this is a local rule, not our choice. So we run a coordinated relay: our Samarkand driver takes you to the checkpoint, and our Tajik driver — who we have worked with for years — is already waiting on the other side. You are never alone at the border. Both drivers stay in contact with each other and with you throughout.
